Postcode Trading!!!

The idea came to me when I was looking for a boring old linen cupboard and didn't want to pay $300 for a brand new one, didn't have time to scour all the garage sales, and didn't want to pay $32 to place an ad in the local newspaper!!!

I asked my friend Maureen to keep an eye out, and she rang me a few days later with a phone number from her daughter's primary school newsletter. Now, I ended up buying two linen cupboards and a terrific fridge from the lady, and realised that I would never have even known about these local items had it not been for "word of mouth'!!! I also realised there was no 'common ground' where all local sellers and buyers alike could see what everyone had to sell or buy!!!

So voila!, along came the inexpensive and simple idea of Postcode Trading!!! Your LOCAL online market place where you can buy,sell and advertise ANY item for only ONE DOLLAR!!! I then patented the idea, and went madly about organising everything!! I have had an amazing response to the website from EVERYONE!!! All ages and different walks of people have been delighted at this simple website!!! I constructed it to be as uncomplicated and easy so everyone can use it from the computer literate to not!!!

Also on this website is a 'Community' page for all non profit organisation to use for all local timetables, sporting and coming events etc!! So everyone in a close community can see what is going on in their local area!!! There will also be a local emergency phone book (coming soon)!!
